R.I.P. Steve Irwin

I'm sure this will be all over the news soon, I just heard about it around midnight PST, but Steve Irwin has died.

Say what you want about how goofy he was or how he shouldn't've been messing with dangerous animals, but he seemed like a real 'top bloke' who loved animals and loved his family. I was quite a fan of his show.

Hats off everyone ...

OK---let me be first. This guy must have had all the brains you could put in a thimble-full of crocodile food. This is the guy who took his baby into a pen of crocs?

Sorry, dude; this guy has done us a favor by shuffling off before propagating his DNA any further. Give this one the Darwin award.

Not to mention that this weekend identified a suitable runner up for this year's Darwin award: Bucky who has shot at least two, maybe more, law enforcement officials in and around Cassadaga NY while trying to bust out of a 90-day tour in an Erie County correctional facility. Umm... cutting off your nose to spite your face, are you?

I'm with Lyman. He was a wonderful guy, great father and husband and the activist to beat all for endangered animals. The baby/crock thing was nuts I'll agree with that but what parent hasn't done something they regretted doing concerning the well being of one of their kids. I was sad all day yesterday because of it. A great loss.

I forgot to sign my name on my comment, it's me Lyman's Mom.

I'm with Lyman as well. The world won't be the same without Steve Irwin in it. God Bless him and his family.
