Quote of the Day

"Rappers, Republicans, what's the difference? They both love guns, they love money, both are scared to death of gay people, every other word out of their mouth is n***er ..."

Do you even know a Republican?

What, do you want a list of names or something?

I don't ordinarily respond to what you post, but for the record I am a Republican. I don't say the "N" word, some of my best friends are gay, & guns and money are a necessary part of our society. When was the last time you paid for a drs. appointment with a chicken? I wonder do you really believe all Republicans are as you quote???

    Hi Debbie---

can't speak for Lyman but yours is a fair question and I'm pretty quick to paint an ugly picture of Republicans as well...

So no, I don't believe that all Republicans do those things. I will admit, however, that I'm often bewildered that folks who seem quite lovely and genteel can believe that the Republican way serves our Country best---especially among the middle and lower class ranks. I really don't get that.

Just as I don't understand how the Democrat way punishes success and rewards waiting for someone else to do things for you.

Don't get me started on having to pay for a Dr. appointment.

It's a JOKE people. The quote is from a show on COMEDY CENTRAL. No reason to get so bent out of shape.

And ksm, that is a good one. Really clever. I love how there is another punchline in the properties window of the image.

And why is it nobody has come to the defense of rappers? ....

What Don, is my joke not Politically Correct enough for you? ...

And yes it is funny if you have a sense of humor about it. Nobody seems to be defending rappers here because they can see the humor in these stereotypes (which, while there for a reason, are not true). Republicans being stereotyped along with rappers (who are their polar opposite on the pop culture scale) is indeed funny. Its called irony. A comedic device. Humor. Ha ha hah.
