Bush Bailout

It looks like big corporations want the government to stay out of their business unless they are going broke in which case they want billions of dollars of taxpayer money to fix their situation.

So we lighten government regulations and give tax breaks to big business just to bail them out when their greed catches up to them?

This will end badly.

I do think. Unfortunately such logic is lost on many.

You know, there's just no good way to get out of where we are. The mess was created by the greed of business and government pals and now we'll all have to pay for it.

There's this really scary confluence of circumstances right now that makes America really vulnerable: the over-commitment of the military, the massive debt to gulf states, China and Russia, our poverty.... this could certainly be a difficult place from which to recover. Maybe its my age but I'm a little scared.

Oh, and lets not forget how most of the world feels about our Nation just now... there's Argentina cozying up to Russia; North Korea looking like they're welching on agreements to stop processing plutonium...

I don't know why anyone would vote for a candidate who wants to keep tax breaks to the wealthy and to big business. We have to dig our way out of this mess.
